Event: 'Webster County Fair & Rodeo' Print
  Annual Events
Date: Monday, July 12, 2010 At 09:00 AM
Duration: 1 Hour

The Webster County Fair has a storied past --starting in Red Cloud, NE. The original “Webster County Agricultural Society" was organized in September, 1873, and the first county fair was held in the fall. It later moved to Bladen, NE, where we are now celebrating 104 years at the present site. For further history, please go to http://webstercountyfair.org/wcf_history.pdf

We officially start on Saturday evening, July 10 at 7:00 pm with the Working Ranch Horse Competition, which is followed by the 4-H Horse Show on Sunday starting at 9:00 am. Then we have a full week of 4-H and FFA activities full of high quality livestock and static exhibits that are highlighted in the Youth Schedule that I have attached to this email. Not only is Webster County known for its great beef show, Webster County is also famous for one of the best rodeos in the country, and it continues this year on Thursday, Friday and Saturday night.
