Citizens of Red Cloud voted to support of a bond issue to finance the construction of an Assisted Living Facility which is now ready for occupancy. Cherry Corner Estates allows residents of Red Cloud and Guide Rock to maintain their independence while receiving assistance with activities of daily living. The facility is a retirement living residence that offers service, security, and independence in an assisted living environment. Private apartments are available which allow for the residents’ own furnishings. Personal services include meals, laundry, housekeeping, medication administration, activities, whirlpool bathing, and emergency call system. Financial arrangements include private pay, Assisted Living Insurance benefits, and a limited number of Medicaid approved units.

Cherry Corner Estates is located at 40 North Cherry Street in Red Cloud. It is owned by the City of Red Cloud and managed by an administrator appointed by a six-member advisory Board of Directors.
